Corporation brings whatever electronic toy or gadget that’s out there on the market. We offer the best technology has to offer, and every year I provide a list to of the newest technology available on the market that would be an excellent fit for our company. The technology that I have looked into this year isn’t a gadget for our customers but for our marketing department. Over the next few years how companies reach their customer base is expected to change dramatically. Gone will be the days of old fashioned advertising and in it’s place will be a individual targeting advertising. Targeting specific customers who will be interested in your products and cutting out those who have no interest in what you’re selling.

User Generated Content is what I could like to bring to the table for the marketing department. Already, online when one is searching something that interest them, that information will get saved as cookies on their browser history, and targeted advertising will happen. On face book, twitter, wherever you are at on the Internet ads relevant to previous searches will begin popping up for you. This freaks a lot of people out but it’s just because they don’t understand the concept. Advertising has been around for a long time, it’s the way companies are able to show their product to the general public but millions of dollars are wasted every year because those ads are being shown to people who have no interest in your product. Showing your ads to those who are interested in what you’re selling increases the chance of them buying your product.

Facial recognition has been talked about for awhile but it is quickly becoming a reality. Facial recognition is where a facial scan of the person’s face would provide information relevant to them as a customer. A combination of facial coding, and user generated content is set to recognize the customer at log in and from the moment of login the customer is identified through web cam, this than curates relevant content and offerings best suited to the individual customer needs (NetScribes Blog, 2018).

The prospective customer would receive industry-specific case studies and customer testimonials of this service. This information would enable businesses to pitch based on what interests the customer. This technology is expected to be adopted by the marketing industry by 2020.

Technology is advancing rapidly, and there are many possibilities for marketing in the culture. Moving with the advance of technology and innovative marketing and advertising would keep our company in the running, and maybe ahead of our competitors. Marketing our products is just as important as acquiring the technology toys and gadgets our customers have come to love.

I would like to take a moment to bring up the next potential technological breakthough which I think we should look into. This is Blockchain. Blockchain was initially created by the cryptocurrency Bitcoin in order to create an immutable ledger which anyone in the world can view yet nobody can alter it’s past. Leading retailor Walmart has already begun researching the technology and licensing patents revolving around the technology and how it can help them in all sectors. Some of these patents create a log of where the inventory has come from and where it ends up. This creates a smarter shipping and warehousing experience for the company.

IBM is beginning to heavily invest into blockchain technology with the Stellar protocol. This can make the transmission of data and money nearly free and instant. I think we should begin looking into how we can incorporate this technology into our own systems to become more efficient and also ahead of our competition.

Scenario one: You have recently read that Google has started using a brand-new algorithm for analyzing search queries and you want to make sure that your organization’s website content is optimized to address this change. What type of supplier would you use to analyze all of your Web pages and recommend or make changes? Would you keep it in-house?

I would use a website analyzer called, Darboost. This website made for analyzing and optimizing websites. It also ensures that you have proper coding, imagines, HTML and text, and headings to be found by search engines. This analyzes everything on your website from cookies to security, to defending against being click hacked because of google browser history saves. The free analysis is very in depth checking for tons of different things that makes a good website.

There are several pricing packages, but I would recommended the Business package at $680 a year, you get 5 pages analyzed including email, and since everything is always changing the information on your site is analyzed daily to make sure your website is keeping up with current demands on the market.

Our focus is bring our product before customers that are relevant to what we sell, and predict just what will be needed from our supply chain to ensure we don’t raise costs or order materials not needed by our company.

I would try to keep scenario 1,2 and 3 in house as you can hire a staff to complete the below task, and not to have to pay a third party.

Scenario 1: You can hire a team who can create with site crawling and keyword searches. Keeping this in house might be challenging at first but long term you can make any adjustments without hiring a third party.

Scenario 2: I would hire someone who can teach to team RWD and ADA. I would hire someone to teach the team and keep it in house so in the future you can make any adjustments.

Scenario 3: Now in days most people have a good understanding on social media platforms, which is why I would keep in this in house. It might be best to have one team member to have indepth training to take the content to the next level vs hiring out.
