the normalization process for database design
This is a paper for a database management class. Here are the instructions:
Your current focus is on developing an understanding of the
normalization process. It’s time to consider some examples to reinforce
this understanding.
For this activity, write a 2-5 page paper that creates three different examples and addresses the following:
- Create an example of a table that violates first normal form.
- Create an example of a table that is in first normal form but violates second normal form.
- Create an example of a table that is in second normal form but violates third normal form.
Do not use the Colonial Adventure Tours database as an example; however, you are free to use any other database case example. If your example is not your own original work, cite your source.
