Before just one year the government in Sultanate of Oman allowed this factories to treat and sell this material.
There are different types of blast furnace slag depending on the method used to cool the molten slag. One of the forms as powder which called Ground-granulated blast-furnace slag , Other countries are taking advantage of it as an alternative to cement. And there is another form which is like coarse Aggregate ( I’m not sure if it’s called air cool blast furnace slag) this is which i’m planning to use it instead of coarse Aggregate in concrete blocks.
