Voting is a right that many people take for granted, and voting is a means of creating social change in a democracy like ours. However, there are many ways that our right to vote is infringed upon.

For example, in 2014, early voting on college and university campuses in Florida was banned. However, a few weeks ago a federal judge ruled that by not allowing early voting on campuses it showed a “pattern of discrimination” for students. Groups like the League of Women’s Voters fought for the rights of Florida students to have access to early voting on campus..
