Perform the Stroop experiment on two different people who are native speakers of English and two different people who are non-native speakers of English. 1.      Either print out the attached Stroop materials on a color printer (2 pages) or create

your own using colored markers. 2. Do the experiment with one person at a time. Instruct your “subject” to say out

loud the ink color in which the words are written as quickly as possible. 3. First show the subject the non-Stroop sheet (the one where the written words match the colors in which they are written). Use a stop watch to record how long it

takes the subject to read the list of words, and record the time. 4.  Then repeat Step 3 with the Stroop sheet (the one where the written words and the

colors in which they are written do not match). 5.     Repeat Steps 2-4 for each of your four subjects. 6. Prepare a two-page report of your Stroop study. It should contain the following

information: Subject 1: Native English speaker. [Male/Female?].
