activity you will take a global perspective to evaluate a social movement

I need someone help me to write two pages for each topic 1. In this final activity you will take a global perspective to evaluate a social
movement.

• A global perspective assumes that globalization touches virtually every aspect of our daily lives (Ferrante 2015:18). It means you use global connections- you analyze a situation in connection with the rest of the globe. These global connections can occur as a result of a social force, such as technology. The availability and use of mobile communication technologies like social media, which give us access to multiple stories about range of problems (from sexual harassment in the workplace to violence against women) and the different ways women and men confront these in various cultural contexts around the world.
• A social movement is an organized effort to make a change, resist a change, or
undo a change in some area of society (Ferrante 2015: 353-355). Social movements depend on three conditions:
A. An actual or imagined condition that enough people find objectionable
B. A shared belief that something needs to be done about the condition
C. An organized effort to attract supporters, articulate the condition, and define a strategy for addressing the objectionable condition.
• The particular social movement that we will examine is an issue of social justice (#MeToo). You will identify the way this movement appears at a local level, while keeping in mind that similar movements are occurring in other places – suggesting this could be a global concern.

2. Examine the #MeToo social movement. What are the successes and
limitations of this movement in your own society and around the globe in
general?
